Gliga III Violin 3/4 Size Outfit
The Gliga III violin's reputation for value and quality without compromise is well deserved, reflected by it's best selling status.
The journey of every Gliga III violin starts in the Carpathian Mountains in Europe, where carefully selected legendary wood used by old master builders is sent to the Gliga workshops in Romania. There, expert luthiers use traditional methods to construct the body, which is finished in a special dark oil varnish developed for the Australian market. Carefully shaped and fitted ebony pegs, chinrest, endpin, and fingerboard are also added.
Upon landing in Australia each violin is inspected before being made into outfits in our warehouse. German Pirastro Tonica are added to the outfit along with the Wittner Ultralight tailpiece and French Aubert bridge supplied with the instrument. The strong, hard-wearing FPS woodshell case and FPS brazilwood horsehair bow completes the package.
The careful attention to detail and high quality fittings results in a robust European instrument that provides a student with every opportunity to excel in the difficult early stages of learning.

General repairs and servicing include the instrument being fully stripped down and cleaned, loose key mechanisms tightened and springs replaced as required. All instruments are set-up and tested.
