Maton EBW808 Blackwood Acoustic Electric Guitar

The latest addition to the Maton range is this all-solid Australian blackwood series guitar. This unique timber combination produces a rich, warm, and punchy tone while maintaining exceptional string separation. Blackwood grows throughout Tasmania and the Otway Ranges in Victoria and is a highly sought-after timber by guitar builders worldwide. Blackwood's beautiful definition and rich overtones make it one of the great modern tone woods, closely related to Koa. Its all-Blackwood construction creates a new, unique voice, forming a tonal compression that was previously only available from custom-built Koa guitars.

An streaky Ebony fretboard and bridge are also featured on the Blackwood series guitars. Ebony is arguably the finest of fretboard woods due to its glassy definition whilst still maintaining superb low end definition. It is one of the hardest wearing timbers on Earth and will see you through a lifetime of playing. 

It looks fantastic with beautiful caramel tones and excellent figure. Combine this with "mini rope" binding and rosette and you have one beautiful looking guitar. Superb feel and easy to play neck profile, Maton have once again lifted the bar.
