Patina PS-6-PP-R Electric Guitar – Purple Relic
Bring vintage character and modern performance together with the Patina PS-6-PP-R Electric Guitar in Purple Relic. Combining a classic double-cutaway body, custom handwound Alnico V single-coil pickups and premium modern hardware, this stylish electric guitar delivers the familiar snap, sparkle and expressive versatility players love in an S-style guitar.
The striking Purple Relic nitrocellulose finish gives the PS-6 the appearance of a well-loved vintage instrument, complete with aged character and subtle finish wear. Its lightweight paulownia body helps keep the guitar comfortable during long rehearsals, recording sessions and live performances.
Classic Single-Coil Tone with Modern Versatility
The Patina PS-6 features three custom handwound Alnico V single-coil pickups, delivering bright, articulate tones with plenty of clarity, definition and dynamic response. From sparkling clean chords and expressive blues licks to punchy rock rhythms and singing lead lines, this versatile pickup configuration provides a broad range of classic electric guitar sounds.
The five-way pickup selector, master volume and two tone controls make it easy to shape your sound for different playing styles and musical genres. Enjoy the distinctive, slightly scooped character of the in-between pickup positions, ideal for funk rhythms, indie rock, pop and classic blues.
Comfortable Playability and Premium Construction
A quarter-sawn roasted maple neck with a smooth satin nitrocellulose finish provides a comfortable, natural playing feel. The Modern C neck profile sits comfortably in the hand, while the rosewood fingerboard and 13.75-inch radius offer a smooth playing surface for chords, bends and fast lead passages.
The PS-6 is equipped with 22 rounded-edge jumbo stainless steel frets, combining a smooth playing feel with excellent wear resistance. Luminescent side dots improve fretboard visibility in dimly lit rehearsal spaces and on stage.
For dependable performance, chrome locking tuners with a 19:1 gear ratio work alongside the tremolo bridge to help maintain tuning stability during bends and expressive vibrato. A bone nut, double-action truss rod and 25.5-inch scale length complete this thoughtfully designed electric guitar.
Whether you're an experienced guitarist seeking a distinctive new instrument or a player looking for premium features and vintage-inspired style, the Patina PS-6-PP-R offers an appealing combination of character, versatility and modern reliability.
