The SX Vintage Series 62 style Custom Handmade Electric Guitar features a genuine Alder Tone Wood body and bolt on maple neck with a beautiful 21 fret Rosewood fretboard.
The double offset cutaway body is comfortable and instantly recognisable. There are nickel silver semi jumbo frets and a beautifully tinted neck that shows subtle quilting, all adding to the vintage look. The multi ply pickguard has also received the vintage touch complimenting the luxurious gloss finish perfectly.
There's a vintage style tremolo, 3 custom wound Single Coil pickups, 1 Volume and 2 Tone controls plus a 5 way Switch for maximum tonal versatility. There are even Kluson style geared machine heads usually only found on more expensive guitars.
The three custom wound Single Coil pickups are versatile and suitable for a variety of music genres including Jazz, Fusion, Blues, Rock, and Metal tones. The pickups produce clean tones that are particularly noteworthy. The glassy chime and warm tones are easy to adjust by selecting switch positions 1, 3, and 5. For hard rock and heavy metal styles, switch positions 2 and 4 are ideal because the single coil pickups operate in reverse phase mode, functioning like a humbucking pickup.
The neck has been hand sanded and finished, then spoke shaven to provide a beautiful early 1960's neck profile that sits comfortably and effortlessly in your hands.

General repairs and servicing include the instrument being fully stripped down and cleaned, loose key mechanisms tightened and springs replaced as required. All instruments are set-up and tested.
