Built around Fender's original phaser circuit developed in the 1970s, the Waylon Jennings Phaser uses JFET components to deliver lush, organic analogue phasing. A three-position Phase switch gives you 2, 4 or 6 stages of phasing, allowing you to move from subtle movement and vintage warmth through to deeper, more pronounced modulation.
The Range control lets you determine which part of your guitar's frequency range is affected, while the Feedback control adjusts the intensity and character of the effect. This makes it easy to create anything from a gentle, swirling texture behind clean chords to a much deeper and more dramatic phaser sound.
For players who simply want to find that classic sweet spot, the Sweet Switch is the star of the show. Engage it to bypass the standard Phase selection and access a carefully voiced phasing setting designed to blend beautifully with your clean guitar tone. With the Sweet Switch engaged, the Feedback control becomes a blend control, letting you dial in just the right amount of phase without overwhelming your original sound.
